However, more often that not, sales goals tend to be overly-ambitious. And many times, it’s not the personality, dedication, work ethic, or the level of commitment the salesperson demonstrates that prevents sales goals from being accomplished, but macro-environmental factors that hinder goals from being achieved.

Building a Strong Diversity Climate at Work

Companies that have more diverse teams have 19% higher revenue. Inclusive companies are 1.7 times more likely to be innovation leaders in their market. 67% of job seekers said a diverse workforce is important when considering job offers. Racially and ethnically diverse companies outperform industry norms by 35%. However, there are only five black CEOs on the 2020 list of Fortune 500 companies, there are more CEOs who are named David than there are CEOs who are women, minority applicants continue to delete reference from their race in their resumes, and nearly half of LGBTQ Americans haven’t come out at work.
