Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22 every year to raise awareness of environmental issues such as climate change and global warming. Earth Day is a key day for brands to demonstrate their environmental commitments, not just in how they approach selling their products, but how their actions represent their values. The theme of Earth Day 2021 is Restore our Earth.
The following brands are taking a step forward to celebrate Earth Day 2021, inspiring stakeholders to become more aware of their environmental footprint.
Earth Day Network
Earth Day Network launched the first-ever Earth Day back in 1970. The organization is the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement and has been working with more than 75,000 partners to drive positive actions for our planet.
“Every Earth Day can drive a year of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to create a new plan of action for our planet,” states Earth Day Network’s website.
In a virtual Celebration, made up of three days of climate action taking place from April 20th to April 22nd, Earth Day Network will host virtual events packed with content, environmental leaders, and activists with the intention of informing and inspiring viewers on environmental issues. The celebration begins with two global summits, their Youth Climate Summit & their Global Education Summit, to educate and empower environmental movements. On April 22nd, Earth Day Network will live stream its second annual “Earth Day Live” event, parallel to the Biden Administration’s Global Climate Summit at 12 PM Eastern Time.
